An experimental study was carried out to measure large negative reactivities such as <BR>-10%Δk/k using a modified digital reactivity meter. Conventionally such large negative reactivities have been measured by the multi-channel scaler (MCS) method. <BR>In the present study both of the methods were used and the two results agreed quite well. <BR>Thus our new method of utilizing a digital reactivity meter for the measurement has been proved to be useful.
