A 55old female, had the tumor at the radix of the tongue and the pharyngeal portion, with the large struma of the anterior cervical area for long time. Symptome of this tumor was coverd by the tumor of the thyroid, and it was regared the invasion from the thyroid tumor. But the postmortem examination revealed that this tumor was the cylindroma and it was independent of the thyroid. And the consideration on the characteristics of cylindroma were briefly. made.
