Uniform heating to materials in a furnace is one of the important factors for every kind of heat treatment, and effective gas flow is required as one of the necessary means to achieve the uniform heating in a furnace especially in a lower temperature atmosphere, though it has not been elucidated.The gas flow state caused by recirculating fans in a furnace has been studied through experiments and computer simulations with this fact as a background.This paper reports the improvements of gas flow state, and usefulness of computer simulation.
