Current requirement in iron and steel industry is to enhance quality/function/variety on finished products and rationalization of production. With reference to such trend, the following technology has been introduced in the field of measurement and control and the farther innovation would be expected.(1) Development of a variety of sensors.(2) Introduction of advanced control.(3) Distribution, integration and intelligence enhancement of system.(4) LAN formation with optical fiber cable.
