The workability of the captioned steel is very poor when it is rolled.For the checking of the cause there were made some investigations of hot twisting test and micro structure picking up some manufacturing problems.And after the test the undewritten matters were found.(1) It is presumed that spread of the crack grows along the eutectic crystal carbide.(2) The time keeping the material in a furnace gives few influence upon the cause of crack, but the forging ratio is the biggest factor. In order to minimize the cracks grow during rolling it should be recommended to keep the ratio of material over 4.0.(3) If the material is soaked the carbide, from the point of view of micro structure, is made round, but no improvement is made about the hot workability.
