• We have examined the effect of the vinyl or polyethylene film-house culture on the growth of the tea buds and the quality of tea.<BR>The temperature in the house rised and the growth of tea buds was promoted by film covering.<BR>The plucking time of the tea plant in the houses was one to three weeks earlier than that in the field.<BR>The tunnel-type house was thought to be suitable.<BR>But as the cost was high, these film-house culture was not seemed to be. profitable.
