• If the qualities of tea made by a miniature process could be estimated as equally as ordinary product, this method would be very useful for tea breeding and manufacturing experiments.<BR>Miniature process machines were designed, matched 200-300g. of tea leaves for Sencha and Guri tea, which consisted of a steamer, primary roller, and final roller. The operation of these machines was very easy and the process was time-saving.<BR>The tea produced by this method had the qualities as nearly same as the ordinary products and very small variance within the qualities.
