• 1 The changes of the h-ase levels in the rats testes as related to ages snd after the artificial cryptorchidism have been studied.2 The h-ase appeares in the normal rats testes at the age of 45 days with the appearance of spermatozoa and reaches the normal level at the age of 65 days, although the devlopement of the testes continues thereafter.3 The h-ase levels maintained the normal levels in the degenerated testes tissue which was kept in the abdominal cavity for one week, but after two weeks or more they decreased near to the trace levels, while the atrophy of the seminal vesicles were not found for five weeks and the interstitial tissue increased 2 weeks after operation.
