(1) On this Experiment we attempt to improve the Iguchis fermented fodder. In case of the sacchrification of the material (Sweet potato starch pulpe) by Asp. Oryzae, 48 hours are required, but it takes only one hour by hydrochloric acid, namely the time for the saccharification is reduced by our method.(2) In this method, it is the most suitable that the addition amaunt of (NH4)2SO4, using as the nitrogene nutrient for the yeast, is 30-50g. per 1kg. of the sweet potato starch pulpe.(3) The digestion coefficient of the product, using (NH4)2SO4 as the nitrogene nutrient for the yeast, is as follows: Crude protein……81.12% Crude fat……26.73% N-free-Extract……85.22% Crude fiber……37, 75% and T. D. N. is 70.91%. (4) The digestion coefficient of the product, using fat-free-bran as the nitrogene nutrient for the yeast, is as follows: Crude protein……84.22% Crude fat……31.61% N-free-Extract……86.65% Crude fiber……26.49% and T. D. N. is 69.74% (5) There is very small difference between the nutrient values of the above mentioned two fermentation feeds, usiag the different nitrogene origin for the yeast. These two fodder values are almost the same degree in the case of the wheat bran from standpoint of T. D. N.
