The vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) of the ethyl acetate + ethanol system has been determined under isobaric conditions at 0.1, 0.5 and 0.7 MPa, using a modified ebulliometer made of stainless steel, which works continuously with recirculation of both phases. The prediction of the activity coefficients in the liquid phase, obtained from the ASOG model and different versions of the UNIFAC model, is quantified respect to the experimental data, which have been verified with the point-to-point test of Van Ness.
