The mass spectra of 3-dimethylaminocyclohexanol derivatives (1-8) were measured by electron impact ionization.The characteristic ions for 3-dimethylaminocyclohexanol derivatives are the fragment ions at [M-43]+, m/z 142, m/z 124, m/z 100, m/z 98, m/z 84, m/z 71, m/z 58, and m/z 45.The cis- and trans-configurations of 3-dimethylaminocyclohexanol derivatives can be identified by observing the peak intensities at m/z 100 and m/z 45. The difference between alkyl and phenyl substituents can be recognized by the peak intensities at m/z 142 and 124.
