The residual heat removal system is an important safety system for nuclear reactors. Passive design of the residual heat removal system attracted more and more attention. Two new type passive residual heat removal systems, which have been used in multipurpose reactors developed in China, are introduced and the main experimental results are presented in this report. A simple comparison between the two systems is also given.
