• Two amphidiploids of Aegilops were produced by colchicine treatment. The combinations were as follows:Ae. bicornis×Ae. uniaristataAe. squarrosa×Ae. uniaristata (recip.).The morphology of the amphidiploid, Ae. squarrosa×Ae. uniaristata, was fairly similar to that of Ae. ventricosa.
