千葉大学大学院人文社会科学研究科研究プロジェクト報告書第228集『接触場面の変容と言語管理接触場面の言語管理研究 vol.8』村岡英裕編"Language Management and Transitioning Contact Situations" Report on Research Project No.228Language Management in Contact Situations Vol.8This paper analyzed the interaction interview data from 13 Chinese residents in Japan to discover the following: in the process of responding to disagreements that arise in Japanese contact situations, what social and context factors are recognized as an input, and what is noted as a deviation. When they show the explicit statement of disagreement, the difference in social position and career status among the speakers seem to be the most recognized factors. When they express their disagreement indirectly or avoid expressions of disagreement, the factor mentioned above and the hearer's positive face seem to be recognized most. Basing judgment using native Japanese speakers as a reference, the Japanese native speakers and Chinese native speakers seem to use different norms concerning the recognition of the factors, the selection of the factors in terms of input.
