On the ground of the authors' researches about the measurement for the water-vapour adsorption, the conventional volumetric method has proved to be accompanied with the unavoidable systematic error which is attributable to the sorption or the desorption of water-vapour caused by the oil in the oil-manometer and the silicone-grease spread on the stopcocks. This awkward error often brings more than 50% deviation on the adsorbed amount. By virtue of the authors' subsequent study, however, they have invented one kind of blank test as a compensation to succeed in reducing the influence of this systematic error to a minimum. On the basis of the fruit, they show the details on the procedures and some instructions on that measurement from the practical point of view. According to the improved procedures, any experimenter is expected to succeed in measuring the water-vapour adsorption with a higher accuracy and a higher precision; ±2%.
