Furadantin Cによる尿路感染症の治療経験

Forty-six patients with urological infection were treated with FURADANTIN C (macrocrystal). These patients were given 300～400 mg per day orally. Satisfactory result was obtained in 13 of 18 patients with the lower urinary tract infection (72.2%), and 17 of 28 patients with chronic infection associated with other urinary tract abnormalities (60.7%). The mild nausea was observed in 6 of 46 patients (13.0%), and emesis in 1 of 46 patients (2.1%) during the treatment. But the reactions were apparently milder than microcrystal. As a conclusion, we believe FURADANTIN C is an effective drug for combating urinary tract infection.
