[原著］肝膵同時切除時における術後早期の膵ホルモンの変動と肝再生に及ぼす影響について

To investigate the influence of pancreatic hormone on liver regeneration in the acute stage after simultaneous resection of the liver and pancreas, the following experimental study was performed. Fifty-one rats were divided into two groups【○!1】control group : 70% hepatectomy(group 1)and 【○!2】 experimental group : 70% hepatectomy + 90%pancreateetomy(group 2). portal glucagon and insulin level, serum transaminase, and DNA synthesis of hepatocytes (labelling index) were examined at 24, 48, 72 hours and 1 week after operation. Portal glucagon level, portal insulin level after glucose administration, and insulinogenic index in group 2 were significantly lower than those in group 1 until 72 hours after operation. Serum GOT, GPT level were significantly higher in group 2 until 48 hours after operation. The peak time of the labelling index in group 2 was 48 hours after operation, and 24 hours delayed compared to that of group 1. These data suggest that the impaired secretion of pancreatic glucagon and insulin delays liver regeneration in an acute stage after simultaneous resection of the liver and pancreas.
