Using adult male dogs, reappearance of intravenously in j ected Na 1131i nto serum, urine and prostatic secretion was examined. The results are summerized as follows. 1) In prostatic secretion of adult dog, approximately same concentrat ion of In' as that of in serum is demonstrated. Its concentration in prostatic secretion fluctuates in proportion to that of in serum. 2) 1131 is not c ondensed in the prostatic gland over serum, but merely passes through the gland. 3) The maximum concentration of 1131a fter intravenous injection is achieved at 5 minutes in urine and at 15 minutes in prostatic secretion. 4) The concentration of 1131i n prostatic excretion is inversely proportionate to the amount of fluid excreted.
