It has been reported that, of all the physical troubles from which high school and college students of the fencing clubs who are supposed to be middle-class swordsmen, the right-ankle troubles are of the highest incidence. So in this research we pay attention to the straightforward attack motion of those students who have right-ankle troubles and of those who do not have, and with a view to preventing the ankle-trouble, we observe the difference between the reaction speed taken by those in trouble in the right ankle and that taken by those in no trouble. We also notice the difference in their forms. And comparing the differences, we make an analysis and, trying to find what causes the trouble in the right ankle, we come to some conclusions, which we report here.
