近世後期上越地域における真宗僧侶の学問的ネットワークについて

近世後期における僧侶の学問研究は盛んであり，殊に真宗においては学僧を目指す者が輩出した。しかし，従来，地方における彼らの学問の実態についてはほとんど知られることがなかった。本稿では，史料に基づきその一端を紹介することを通じて，今後の研究の基礎づくりを試みた。It is said that in the late Edo-Period buddhist studies were greatly developed. Especially there appeared many learned monks from the Shinshu Sect. It was the result of the improvement of the scholastic ability of rural monks. But their reality has almost been unkown to us till now. The author tries to make clear thier actualities by using a document of a local school founded by a Shinshu-monk named Reishuu who lived in the Jouetsu area in the first half of the 19th cencury.
