児童の心理的ストレスと対処行動，ソーシャルサポート，性格特性　―日本語版BISCの作成と沖縄と千葉の地域比較―

The purpose of study 1 in this study was to develop the Japanese version of the BISC(Behavioral Inventory of Strategic Control), which was originally developed as an inventry for assessing children's coping behavior with stress in the social domain. The study 2 purpose was to inevetigate the relationship among personality traits, social support, stress and coping using the Japanese version and compare to find whether there was any differences in relationships of these variables between prefecture Okinawa and Chiba. The participants were 3rd and 5th grade school children in Okinawa and Chiba. The results offered considerable support for the construct validity and relaibility of the BISC. The ANOVA revealed that Okinawan children reported more avoidance coping strategies than those reported by Chiba children. The regression analysis revealed that stressful responses were significantly predicted by personality traits.
