New lubricant for cold forging has been obtained. The one thus obtained is excel in lubricating ability and more economical compared with others such as “Zinc Phosphate coating method”. The function and its mechanism: Under the extreme pressure the lubricant molecule（moiety 4- a in Fig4）releases sulfur radical, S・, by Tribo reaction. The S・reacts immediately with new surface of iron to make FeS which behave as effective lubricant for heavy processing. On the one hand, the moiety4- b in Fig4 produces Zn_3（PO_4）_2 and ZnO by Triboreaction which also effective as lubricant for comparatively light processing.
