• A new species of the subgenus Evylaeus of the genus Lasioglossum (Hymenoptera, Halictidae) is described from northern and central Japan. This new species is recognized to belong to the atroglaucum species-group. Taxonomic remarks, geographical distribution, flight and flower records are given.
