This paper is the supplement to a previous report of the same title. The acceleration of earthquake motion in the laboratory of the Naval Architectural Institute (wooden building, Fig. 1) was compared with that of the groundfloor of the Earthquake Research Institute and the Seismological Institute. As stated in the previous paper, on the surface of the ground, motions with comparatively small period, such as 0.2 sec, predominate, while on the ground floor (depth 4 m from ground surface) of the Earthquake Research Institute, motions with period of 0.3 sec or larger predominate.
