Dependence of the Phase Velocity of Rayleigh Waves on the Vertical Distribution of Elastic Constants

The increment AC in the phase velocity of plane Rayleigh waves due to changes in elastic parameters at various depths of crustal model J-IV-3 have been calculated. Tables of, several derivatives facilitating the computation of dispersion curves, which would be of use in a short range study of crustal structures, are presented. Several examples showing the applicability of these derivatives are presented.Rayleigh波の位相速度によつて地殻構造を議論する場合,いろいろな深さで弾性定数を変えたときに,いろいろな周期のRayleigh波の位相速度がどのように変化するかを知ることは極めて重要である.この論文では,弾性方程式のエネルギー積分を用いて,あるクラストーマントル構造について,いろいろな深さでの,ρ,λ,μ,α,β,σを変化した場合のRayleigh波位相速度の変化を求めた.これらを用いると,一つの構造についての分散曲線が求められてさえいれば,別の構造についての分散曲線を容易に求めることができる,また,ある周期のRayleigh波に対しては,どの位の深さのところの構造が一番強い影響力をもつかを定量的に議論することができる.
