• The stress waves, propagating in a rectangular beam reinforced by equi-distantly spaced fibers in the longitudinal direction, are investigated as an eigenvalue problem of the dynamic finite prism method by means of finite Fourier integration transforms. The discussions are focussed on the dispersion of a harmonic flexural wave and the comparison of the wave velocity curves with and without reinforcement is shown in figures
