• The standardization of stationary fuel cell power systems had been done parallel to development of technology, deregulation, certification criteria, and demonstration projects of stationary fuel cell power systems in Japan. In 2009, Japanese companies started to sell residential PEFC systems commercially. The trade name for it is unified as "ENE-FARM". A total of 37,171 units are confirmed to have been installed during 4 years.In this review, outline of the development progress of ENE-FARM, review of Electric Utility Low and Fire Protection Low, certification criteria, JIS C 8800 series for fuel cell, and IEC62282 series for stationary fuel cell power systems, and ISO14687-3 for hydrogen fuel for stationary PEFC power systems are described.
