The purpose of this paper is to investigate the problem in bookkeeping education of Communication andInformation Science department, Fukushima Technical College, by comparing with the one characterized by thequestionnaire survey of the Japanese Bookkeeping Society (2002). Based on a questionnaire survey, the paperstudies the difference in the problems that special high school, technical college and university students have anddiscusses how bookkeeping education of technical collage can be improved. A steady result shows that, according tothe obtained characteristics of technical college students, it is possible to make students enjoy the study ofbookkeeping if the subject is appropriately introduced at the beginning phase, which is known to be hard to teach.
