Distinctive dimensions such as controllability of action, positivity/negativity of action, self/other agency, and interpersonal/personal action are applied for the analysis of several moral emotions as an extention ofcausal-attributional theory of emotion. Combinations of four dimensions produce sixteen expected cells ofpossible emotional situations. Among them sympathy is a fundamental component of such moral emotionsas sharing of happiness and unhappiness of another person, enjoying of another person's joy, kindness andhelping. On the contrary envy, ressentiment and Schadenfreude are antipathy for another person'shappiness and unhappiness.
