• We investigated how air conditioners were used in thermal insulated housings in Kyoto city, Aidu-Wakamatsu city and Kitami city. In Aidu-Wakamatsu, the proportion of their continuous cooling was high, and they often repeated operation and stop over the range of their inverter due to the low performance operation. We found that COP might fall below 2 on the low performance condition by our study of the relationship between the load factor and COP using our simple experimental device.
