We developed a new method for ice nucleation in a super-cooling ice slurry system. The method is based on the principle of adiabatic expansion. A little quantity of compressed air is put in the ice-slurry generator as a trigger to release the super cooled water flowing through. The expanding low temperature air breaks up in the flow and releases the super cooled water near the bubble surface. The new method can promote the stability of the system.
