In the disaster recovery scenario e.g., after Mega-Quake, to quickly rebuild a fully functional optical network with limited number of survived multi-vendor systems in the heavily damaged area, interconnecting the survived multi-vendor systems in an all-optical way will be the most cost-efficient approach to the carrier. In this report, the method of emergent optical network control with interconnecting the survived multi-vendor optical systems is investigated and demonstrated.
