• Contemporary medical care strongly depends on the medical devices and the importance of medical devices is more and more increasing now. Many advanced innovative medical technologies and medical devices are invented in this half century. But recently Japanese medical device industry is increasingly losing the presence and power in the world. There are many problems in the medical device industry. We have to solve these problems for the future by cooperating with industries, governments and academies.
