Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (NUCB) introduced a new Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) system in April 2009. This is being used in the classroom and for independent study in the Self-Access Center (SAC). As students had made minimal use of the system in self-study, it was decid- ed that there should be further intervention. This took the form of additional material being installed on the system, and stakeholders being given further training and encouragement to use the materials. This article reports on that process and the results of questionnaires that were used to monitor results.
