According to current regulations a TV white space device (WSD) can obtain the list of available channels by providing its technical characteristics and geolocation information to a geolocation database (GDB). As an option called mul-ti-location, the WSD can submit its potential operation area to the GDB and obtain the list of available channels which can be used in any place within that area. This paper analyzes the multi-location option in the interface between WSD and the GDB, and proposes an autonomous coexistence method by utilizing the results of multi-location queries. The proposed coexistence method does not require any information exchange among the WSDs or between WSDs and any coexistence server. This method can solve the co-channel interference between long-range and short-range WSDs, and can improve the coexistence among short-range WSDs.
