We investigate the effect of pulsing operation on the ultrasonic dispersion of titanium dioxide particles in acrylic resin. Pulsing operation at appropriate on-off duty cycles enables us to attain a particle size smaller than that at a continuous wave (CW) at the same net time of sonication between operations.
