The effect of liquid height based on wavelength of 35 kHz ultrasound for enhancement of sonochemical reactions was investigated in a 35 kHz cylindrical sonoreactor. It revealed that concentrated ultrasonic energy didn't show high sonochemical efficiency (SE) and conversion efficiency (CE). Liquid height of 4 λ, or 5 λ was optimal for SE and CE and higher input power was not effective in that range. In addition, there were large differences for SE and triiodide ion concentration in small change of liquid height (1/4 λ) and peak values were detected at every 1/2 λ as previous researchers have found.
