This paper describes multi modes vibration control design method of building using Inter-story Maxwell oil dampers. Maxwell damper have optimum damper value because it is frequency characteristic of energy absorbed ability. The optimum value is derived from the fixed point theory. The scope of fixed point theory is limited to using the single damper for non-damping system, it can not be applied to multi damper arrangement problem. This paper overcomes this problem, and reports multi modal optimization with multi damper systems.
