• Neuron activation analysis (NAA) system has been established in Malaysian Nuclear Agency in 1983. The technique has been used for research, training and commercial service. It has become a major analytical technique in this research center and been applied for research in the fields of environment, geology, archaeology and agriculture. The NAA facility was also used by several universities for training and research. Common customers for commercial service were from regulatory body and industries dealing with mineral trading and processing. Their interest was normally for the determination of uranium and thorium in mineral and mineral products.
