Preparation process of LiFePO4 was studied with thermal analysis. The results show that it is very difficult to prepare LiFePO4 by conventional firing method with non-active atmosphere without deoxidization materials. We prepared AL, Zr or W doped LiFePO4 materials by firing method in vacuum. The electrical conductivities of these materials were very low and we could not observe doping effect for the conductivity.
