"P mark" is also called privacy mark and the aim of this mark in hospital is to enhance patients' level of recognition of personal information protection. It is given from Japan Information Processing Development Corporation (JIPDEC) through a deliberative council about appropriateness which is in compliance with JISQ15001. Most people realize that medical workers should protect patients' privacy, however, it is not so widely understood. Furthermore, only few studies have so far been made at protecting patients' privacy in hospital. This paper is intended as an investigation of the awareness about protecting privacy of nurses working for Sagamigaoka hospital using with Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) results lead to the conclusion that there was a significant difference as for the question of Honorifics along the length of working period.
