In this study, in order to enhance the quality of welfare services, we looked into the level of risk management and managing capability of the students (trainees) by observing the cases of medical incidents during their on-the-job training. Based on the reports of medical incidents written by the trainees, we also discussed the issues and present situation of individual support of welfare services. The study showed us the following results. Firstly, in terms of "conation and cognizance," the students have raised awareness about the risk management and learned how to cope with the risk in group as well as in person. Secondly, in terms of "behavior and attitude," the trainees, by relating the risk to the other tasks, have recognized the new issues and seized the opportunity to think about the improvement of the welfare organizations. Lastly, through the on-the-job training, there have emerged other things to be considered such as how to collaborate with the welfare organization staff, how to commit to the organization, and so on.
