• The expansion of location-acquisition technologies facilitates a log of user locations and trajectories. In the research, we applied truncating into the GPS log data to mine a list of user possibly significant locations and movements among them. The experiment result shows that truncating can be used for clustering alternative with benefit no need to determine the initial number of cluster.
