• Effects of lignin content on the enzymatic saccharification of moso-bamboo were investigated. It is known that young moso-bamboo (1 year-old) is low lignin content. This bamboo was hydrolyzed by enzymatic saccharification (10FPU/g-substrate) without pretreatment. Furthermore, combining hot compressed water and enzymatic saccharification treatment was improved the sugar yield. The yields of glucose and xylose from the pretreated young moso-bamboo at 150℃ by enzymatic saccharification (10FPU/g-substrate) were 132.7 and 107.6 mg/g-substrate, respectively.
