• As for the coffee grounds, tea grounds occurring from a beverage manufacturer, the most are carried out as wastes to the outside. Methane fermentation method is the method suitable for energy collection from wet organic wastes such as coffee grounds, tea grounds, sludge. Swing developed methane fermentation system of coffee grounds, tea grounds and sludge. This system is facilities to make good use of as biogas. Swing installed methane fermentation systems to three places of Japan so far. With the plant which I installed to a beverage manufacturer, the plant use approximately 60% of generated biogas by oneself, but can make good use of remaining 40% in a beverage production process. In addition, the plant can reduce the wastes derived from coffee grounds, tea grounds and sludge by approximately 85% than before.
