As an effort to educate of practical and creative engineers, PBL (Problem-Based Learning) orengineering design education are actively introduced. In terms of education of creative engineersand contribution to the local community, we worked as volunteers to repair home electronics. Oureffort has got much appreciation by the local inhabitants. The experiences of the repairs raised thestudents' desire to learn, and were also effective in fostering cooperation, solidarity, andcommunication skills of the students.
