This study is a unique case in the Japanese educational field applying the Positive Organizational Scholarshipwhich was born and has been developed in United States. POS is often used for the organizational management in theprivate and public sectors. POS focuses on strengthening the advantage to beat the disadvantage. The methodology ofPOS is by underlining the positive sides of people's traits and experiences, and organization's positive traits and properleadership. This paper analyses on how and when to make the students'motivation up for study, sport, and in life. Theobservation results of the student groups subjected to the POS experiments before and after are discussed as well. Themethods introduced in this research are happy log, gratitude journal, active participation, and educational feed back andreward. This study uniquely combines the POS theory and the competition among students.
