γ-vibrational states of even-even rare-earth nuclei are calculated by making use of Skyrme-quasiparticle random-phase approximation (QRPA), and the energies and transition probabilities are compared with experimental data. Our result shows that SkM is better than SLy4. It is also shown that many-body correlations not included in the QRPA calculation appear in the data. Relation between the pairing strength and the cutoff is discussed.
