• The main composition of fuels and chemicals are carbon and hydrogen which are produced by petroleum mostly. Since the continuous increase of world crude oil price, natural gas and coal gasification technologies also has been developed to produce syngas for fuel and chemicals synthesis. Recently, in order to reduce green house gas emission, biomass gasification technology development also has been promoted. This paper reviewed the world gasification process development with materials of natural gas, coal and biomass.
