• This article regards Ethnic Koreans who mainly residing in each nation throughout Northeast Asia as Transnational Actor, not as mere minority groups in each nation they inhabit. Case studies that pay attention to their transnational activities in each field may be able to lead to the solution of the problem about the effects of transnational actors backed up by ethnic homogeneity on international relations. For such a purpose, this article attempts positive research on educational and academic exchange in Yanbian, China, and clarifies that Yanbian has developed transportation by degrees with the progress of educational and academic exchange between Yanbian and South Korea.
